Beginning autumn 2009, Continental commenced the installation of the new flat bed seats in the BusinessFirst® cabins of its 777-200 and 757-200 aircraft, with installation in the rest of the wide body fleet to follow.
Roomy design: Fully lie-flat seat that reclines 180° providing 6'6" sleeping space.
Comfort: Controls give you infinite combinations for adjusting your seat, including lumbar support.
Entertainment & Connectivity: New Audio-Video on Demand system at every seat with 15.4" LCD monitor, iPodTM connector and reading light. Universal power outlets with no adapter required, a USB port and audio plug in outlet are also available.
Audio-Video on Demand (AVOD) is now available on 777 and 757-200 aircraft in both BusinessFirst and Economy class! This includes all Continental's flights departing from the UK. Choose from up to 250 movies, 300 TV shows, 3,000 songs and 25 interactive video games on the 777 aircraft. The 757-200 has a choice of up to 40 movies. The system also provides a juke box feature that will allow you to make your own song list.
